New Sur-Ron Bikes: How to Choose the Right Model

Every bike on this page is brand new and sold with manufacturer warranty coverage. If you are shopping for a Sur-Ron for sale and are not sure which platform fits you, the decision usually comes down to one question: do you want a lighter machine you can throw around on singletrack and lift into a truck bed alone, or a larger full-size chassis with more seat height and more presence under you? Both families are represented in our current stock, and the differences matter more than color.

The Lighter Trail Platform: X Bike and LBX

The 2023 Sur-Ron X Bike and the Sur-Ron LBX 2023 sit in the compact end of the range. These are the bikes most people picture when they think of the brand: low weight, short wheelbase, and a riding position that suits tight woods trails, pit riding, and newer riders who want something manageable. They are also the easier bikes to transport, store in a garage, and handle on your own without a second set of hands.

We currently stock the LBX in standard trim plus two colorways, the Sur-Ron LBX 2023 [Nardo Grey] and the [White Phantom]: Sur-Ron LBX 2023. Mechanically they are the same bike, so pick on looks and availability. If you are buying your first electric dirt bike, or the bike will be shared with a lighter or shorter rider, this is generally the family to start in.

The Full-Size Platform: Ultra Bee and Storm Bee

The 2025 SURRON ULTRA BEE and the Sur-Ron Storm Bee 2023 are considerably bigger machines. Taller seat height, longer wheelbase, more substantial suspension and brakes, and noticeably more weight to move around at walking pace. Riders coming off a full-size gas dirt bike usually feel more at home here, as do taller adults who find the compact frames cramped. The trade-off is practical: these are two-person lift bikes, they take up more room, and they are more work to load.

If you are deciding whether to buy Sur-Ron in the full-size class, be honest about where you will actually ride. Open desert, fire roads, and motocross tracks reward the bigger chassis. Tight technical trails and backyard riding often do not.

What You Get When You Buy New

A new Sur-Ron costs more than a used one, and the reasons are concrete rather than sentimental:

  • Manufacturer warranty coverage from day one — see our warranty page for what is and is not included.
  • An unused drivetrain: chain, sprockets, and bearings with zero hours on them.
  • A battery with no unknown charge history, and no prior deep discharges.
  • A 30-day return window, which a private-party purchase will never give you.
  • No inherited crash damage, aftermarket wiring, or firmware changes you did not ask for.

If budget is the deciding factor, our used Sur-Ron inventory is worth comparing side by side before you commit.

Shipping and Pickup

Shipping is a flat $250 to the 48 contiguous US states. Every new Sur-Ron ships from our Little Rock, Arkansas warehouse. Full-size bikes travel in a wooden crate on a pallet by LTL freight, partially assembled, and are delivered curbside — plan for help unloading and a bit of assembly time. Local buyers can skip all of that: pickup at 4509 W Dixon Rd, Little Rock, AR 72206 is free, and bikes collected in person are handed over fully assembled and ready to ride. Questions about fit, crating, or lead times before you order a new Sur-Ron are welcome — get in touch and we will give you a straight answer.
